What is a story?
What is the best way to tell a story?
How do our cultures describe themselves? Which of us and which parts of each of us are left out of that description?
How is the self organized?
What are the uses of and the reasons for the fragment?
What is the present? The present has never been described—How should we describe it? What are the politics of narration; that is, what is power, including the power of seduction?
How does time operate in fiction? Or, better, the temporal measures each story contains, including its relation to history and to the reader?
What is the relationship between reader and writer: performer and audience? Tyrant and slave? Co-conspirators?
